News Flash!

This is a very exciting time for my family and I as we approach the end of this month. As of now I am just under 37 weeks pregnant with our 2nd little girl, Amelia Louise. We are so thankful that this pregnancy has gone just as smoothly as the first one (with Averi Noel) with some minor bumps along the way. In the next few weeks as I wrap up my last minute sessions, I wanted you to be aware of some changes that will be occurring that will effect both new and current customers.

I booked my last session before Amelia gets here, however I will be taking a few sessions as time (and my tiredness) permits. These will be around late November/early December. Keep this in mind for Christmas photographs!

There is also a new/improved price list for 2010-2011 that goes into effect immediately. This includes all session packages, reproductive release, print prices, books, gallery wraps, accordian books, and other products. Please email me for an updated list.

All previous wedding customers: this year I trialed a new way of pricing by charging hourly for my services and having print packages/release separate. Currently (so far) 80% of the weddings I shot this year haven't ordered one print. This makes me so sad! I love your enthusiasm when you get to view your wedding photographs for the first time, but it's not fun that you don't get to keep them! Based on these high numbers it has been decided that I will re-do my wedding price list to prevent this from happening. If you have any suggestions how to improve this, please share! I'm open to all opinions!
So (to all of you who haven't ordered...you know who you are!)...I will agree to keep your pictures on my online gallery until you order, however, after the first of the year my new wedding prices will go into effect. Please, please, please order yourself a nice Christmas present....your wedding pictures!

During the first few weeks of Amelia's arrival we will be busy adjusting to having two little ones so please be patient with me. I will be happy to fill all new orders, but please allow a little extra wigggle room for me to design books and Christmas cards.
I will keep my laptop handy and will answer emails as promptly as possible.
Thank you allowing me to capture all your moments this year, it has been a real blessing for me!

Morgan is graduating!!

What a beautiful day for senior pictures...Morgan arrived with an array of clothing to pick from and was fully ready to be photographed. The session was easy...beautiful weather, beautiful Morgan! I have so many favorites I couldn't pick!

Garrison Family

We were all prepared for a cooler September day...instead we got a sweltering hot day! The Garrisons were troopers though....we brought towels and wipes to cool us off and got our session completed in about 90 minutes. Thank you, Megan, for allowing me to capture you, Travis, and your precious boys. And thank you for letting me torture you all!!

Hagensieker Wedding

KC and Michelle got married on a sweltering August day. This wedding was nothing short of lovely. They were very accomodating to my requests...taking pictures OUTSIDE. We all did a lot of sweating, but you can't tell in their beautiful photographs!!!

How can you not love this sweet boy's face? He just melted my heart the day I took his 9 month pictures!

Cara is graduating!

Congratulations to Cara who is celebrating a big achievement -- graduating from high school! Her session was extremely easy going and we enjoyed being ridiculous while my sister (Cara's good friend) entertained us and made us laugh.

Stunning Pregnant Woman

Shelly and Brandon attend church with me and are expecting their first little one, a little girl, Sophia Grace. Jagger is a really sweet 4 year-old boy who doesn't lack a wonderful disposition! We had a great session, he was really easy to photograph. Brieonna is a very special girl and very loved! I had the opportunity to capture her 1st year pictures. What a blessing her mom and Brie were. He makes all things new....

As we celebrate the coming of a new year -- a new season -- I want to take a moment and thank everyone for their support as 2009 brought a significant growth in my business and experience as as photographer. I appreciate you so much!
I always think of each day as a new day with no blemishes or impurities and with the new year brings fresh beginnings....
That being said there is much anticipation for what 2010 will bring J. Liberty Photography....more business, new customers, new props, new experience, new weddings, new fresh and smiling faces to capture and I am excited about it all!
